FAQs
What is Health Alliance Network TeleMedicine?
The Health Alliance Network TeleMedicine program allows you to access a doctor from your home, office or on the go. Our US Board Certified doctors can visit with you either by phone or secure video to help treat any non-emergency but urgent medical condition, dermatology or even counseling.
What if I already have Insurance?
The Health Alliance Network TeleMedicine program is NOT INSURANCE. If you have insurance, this program is a value add to your existing plan providing convenience, accessibility and cost savings. Why pay co-pays, deductibles and visit fees with traditional insurance when you have access the same doctors with our nationwide Telehealth plan.
Is this good for all medical conditions?
Health Alliance Network is not intended to replace your primary care doctor. A virtual doctor’s appointment can often substitute a doctor’s office, urgent care, or an emergency room visit. The program is designed to handle non-emergency, but urgent medical issues. You should not use TeleMedicine if you are experiencing a medical emergency. In case of a medical emergency you should always dial 911 immediately.

If my child is away in college, are they still included in the plan?
Yes. All Members of the household are included whether traveling, at college or on a layover at an out of state airport.
Where is this Service Available?
Is this Service Available Internationally?
Yes. Our service is available everywhere that you have access to a phone or video call. However, our doctors are only licensed in the United States and therefore can only write a prescription in the United States. The doctors can still diagnose and recommend a treatment plan. NOTE: When using the service outside of the United States select your Home State of Residence in the United States on the App or desktop before you select your doctor. As an example, if you list your home state on the APP as Florida, you will be connected to a Florida licensed medical doctor.
